Analysis Reports​

The reports in the Analysis use case offer enhanced KPI functionalities compared to the Reports of the planned timetable. The analysis reports come in the same structure and layout (list form and summary form) as the Timetabling reports, but are based on real data.

The additional KPI are:

  • Punctuality against thresholds
  • Percentage of Cancellations
  • Seat capacity variations (seats offered vs. planned)
  • Track access charges

The analysis reports can be customised for each client. For further information on how individual KPI are calculated, please contact your trenoLive administrator.

Train search setup for real data KPI calculation​

The reports work based on train searches for real data. In contrast to the train searches with planned trains, there is additional emphasis on the operating days of each train.

While the train search will return results based on planned trains that meet the inserted criteria, the analysis reports will further limit the result of the train search based on the actual trains that meet the operating days filter.

  • Example 1: No operating days filter is inserted, all available actual trains are considered.
  • Example 2: Operating days filter is a single day. All actual trains corresponding to this operating day will be considered. Actual trains of other operating days of planned trains returned by the train search will not be considered.
  • Example 3: Operating days filter is a period or a number of individual days. All actual trains corresponding to these operating days will be considered. Actual trains of other operating days of planned trains returned by the train search will not be considered.
