Timetable comparision
It is possible to compare trains within the scenario or against trains in another scenario of the same project. The result shows in red cells the train caracteristics that do not corrispond. One train comparision can be expanded to show differences in the train path (e.g. OCP tracks, path entry types or margins).
Compare history of trains
The history comparision allows to compare two versions of a train identified by its train code in a trenoLive scenario. It can be used to reconstruct the editing history of a train. Further, it is possible to create a new train - with its own unique train code - based on a historic version of a train. It is only possible to compare historic versions with the same train code.
Compare trains and variants
The trains and variants comparision allows to compare one train (in its current form) with another train (in its current form) in the same scenario. There are three options:
- Compare variants (compares a base train against all its variants)
- Same train number (compares a train against all trains with the same train number, including variants)
- User defined (compares a train with another train, both identified by their train code)
Compare timetables (trains in another scenario)
The timetable comparision allows to compare trains in the current scenario against trains in another scenario. Trains are identified by their train code. The comparision can be limited to specific train searches. There are 4 options for comparision:
- Same trains in both scenarios (This gives a list of trains which are identical in both scenarios)
- Only trains in the first scenario (This gives a list of trains which are present in the first scenario but not in the second one)
- Only trains in the second scenario (This gives a list of trains which are present in the second scenario but not in the first one)
- Changed trains (This gives a list of trains with the same train code in both scenarios - it does not necessarily mean that the result shows the same trains)
