Reoccupation time
Reoccupation time
Reoccupation time violations are a macroscopic conflict based on user-defined thresholds for planned platform occupation times. The conflict checker checks for each OCP track, if the following train stays outside a certain threshold to ensure robustness and avoid knock-on delays. In contrast to the microscopic conflict checker it is not relying on the individual blocking times of microscopic infrastructure elements.
The reoccupation time thershold is defined en gros for all OCPs and OCP tracks and for train movements in the same and in the opposite direction. Individual OCP tracks can then be modified by selecting and editing single or multiple rows.
The reoccupation time checker checks if a second train arrives to the same OCP track in the time frame between the departure time of the first train and the departure time of the first train plus the defined threshold.
